Founder and director - Tom Blyth
Tom started to learn how to ring church bells at the age of ten. By the age of fifteen he had become very interested in all aspects of joinery, engineering and restoration work, and helped repair and replace components within the tower of St Peter at Gowts church in Lincoln to help bring the bells back into working order.
He was then offered a work experience placement by Hayward Mills Bellfounders and Bellhangers in Nottingham and was offered full-time employment immediately after leaving school.
In his time at Hayward Mills, Tom learnt about many aspects of the bell hanging trade, ranging from the basics of fabrication to frame design and bell hanging composition.
Eventually Hayward Mills moved to the John Taylors Bell foundry site in Loughborough in 2009. It was at this time; Tom was entered into a woodworking apprenticeship picking back up his previous love for wood. After the completion apprenticeship, he decided to leave Taylors and set up his own business.
